It’s October and that means it is time to break out the spooky games! Whether you’re looking for a scary game to play with your friends or family, or you want something fun for the ghouls and goblins in your life, we’ve got some suggestions for you. Read on below for our top 5 picks of spooky games this Halloween season!

October is the perfect time to play spooky games. Whether it’s a family game night, a get-together with your friends, or you want something fun for the kids in your life (beware of those tricks!), we’ve got suggestions! Check out our top picks below.

First up on Halloween Games list: Arkham Horror The Card Game. This cooperative card game takes place in H.P Lovecraft’s Cthulhu mythos and sees players working together against an Ancient One trying to break through into our world while facing down monsters and crises. It has been praised by many as one of the best board games ever made so be sure not to miss this pick if you love horror-themed board/card games!

Another great suggestion for October gaming is Gloom In Space! This game sees players working together to destroy planets and create misery for their opponents in order to make the most out of life before they inevitably die. It’s a really fun, light-hearted choice that is perfect for Halloween-themed family nights or get-togethers with friends.

Another great suggestion if you love cooperative games (or are looking to play it solo) comes from Cryptozoic Entertainment, makers of the DC Deck Builder series. The Walking Dead: No Sanctuary puts one player against all others as they try and survive an attack by either zombies or survivors trying to take what little resources available you have left. Playable solo or with up to four people, this pick will definitely put your teamwork skills to the test!

The final pick for Halloween Games on our list comes from KOSMOS. Dracula’s Feast is a party game where players have to try and figure out what their opponents are trying to do by asking questions without talking! This spooky spin on the classic party game Werewolf sees four different characters who each have a particular set of actions they can take, but only one player gets to be Dracula at any given time so you never know which character your opponent might actually be! A great choice if you’re looking for something fun that will definitely get people laughing this October season.
